Celtic told to sign off on 6 transfer exits as Rodgers urged ‘get rid’ of duo and spark seismic change

At least six Celtic players need to be released from the team, according to Brendan Rodgers, with goalkeepers Scott Bain and Benjamin Siegrist possibly joining Joe Hart in his departure.

Former striker Frank McAvennie believes that the goalkeeping staff at the club will undergo a seismic shift this summer. Hart, the current leader, has already announced that he will retire at the end of the season. Bain is his current backup.

Siegrist, on the other hand, joined the team from Dundee United and has since moved up to third choice. The Celtic veteran is unimpressed with both of them and believes they should be benched to make room for a significant goalkeeping change. He estimates that at least six players are using their Parkhead squad spot and Premiership salary without making much of an impact.
McAvennie stated, “Get rid of the two of them,” to Football Insider. They must introduce a fresh top contender. Bain and Siegrist are inadequate.

“I had assumed Siegrist would emerge as the top player, but he has spent the last three years as a Celtic bench warmer. That’s not what I was expecting; I had assumed he would press Joe Hart harder.

“I’m just not into bain.” His time has come. Many of the players at Celtic have been there for much too long.

“Why are you still here when he won’t be your first choice? That kind of player is one of around six at the club. They’ll all leave; that much is certain.
