Kemar Roofe has shared an image of him on a plane after the news that he is departing Rangers at the end of the season.

Taking to Instagram (15 May), the Gers’ forward posted to his story a picture of a plane wing amongst the clouds.

The Jamaican waved goodbye to the Ibrox faithful after the Light Blues came back to win 5-2 against Dundee (14 May).

It now appears that the forward is jetting off despite having two matches remaining of the current campaign.

How can Rangers replace Kemar Roofe?

There is set to be a mass exodus from Ibrox this summer with multiple contracts and loan deals expiring with players ready to depart.

After the Dundee win, both Roofe and Borna Barisic were seen waving goodbye with the Croatian set to move to Turkey [Kuzey Anadolu].

Philippe Clement will have to move quickly as he looks to bring in cover for the various first-team options that depart this summer.

Roofe is one of those who is leaving but given his lack of goal involvement over the last two seasons, he might not be missed on the pitch.

Across the two campaigns, he has managed just four goals in 30 appearances while he has failed to score since December [FotMob].

With Danilo set to return from injury, he will certainly add to the squad depth available to Clement ahead of the transfer window.

Roofe appears to be a well-liked member of the dressing room which will be hard to replace but tangible results haven’t been there for a while now.
