Trevor Sinclair shares stunning Celtic Park footage on social media as Bhoys beat Rangers

Never one to keep his passion for Celtic hidden, Trevor Sinclair was among the fortunate spectators at Saturday’s derby victory against Rangers.

After John Lundstram put the ball in his own net minutes after Matt O’Riley gave the Bhoys a 2-1 lead, Celtic defeated Rangers 2-1.

The team led by Brendan Rodgers presently leads the Scottish Premiership table by six points and has a better goal differential than the team in second place. That puts Celtic within two games of clinching the title once more.

Three generations of Sinclair’s family traveled with him today, and he provided amazing video of 60,000 fans singing You’ll Never Walk Alone right before kickoff.

Trevor Sinclair feels a genuine affinity for Celtic Park

The former West Ham striker was obviously receiving an incredible response from the supporters, as Sinclair also acknowledged each and every one of them during his tour.

The excitement level for one of the biggest derbies in recent memory was appropriate for the event. Yes, there was some tension toward the end, but that was only because so many people have a deep connection to the fixture.

Due in part to the tone created by the pre-match support, the team was electrifying and in control of the game early on.

After the game, Rangers manager Philippe Clement stated that the performance of his team in the first 20 minutes of the match was his biggest disappointment of the afternoon and a key element in their loss.

Supporters could now begin a week-long celebration with today’s outcome. Prior to having the chance to win the championship away to Kilmarnock on Wednesday, there is a significant Player of the Year celebration at the Hydro on Sunday.

That should prepare the team for a spectacular trophy day against St Mirren at home the following Saturday, which will instill a great deal of confidence in them ahead of another epic derby in the Scottish Cup final.
