Club appear to be walking away from Southampton man – New name on list, likely cheaper

The fact that Trabzonspor is looking for a replacement for Paul Onuachu before the summer suggests that they won’t be making a permanent deal for him.

It is improbable that Antalyaspor will sign striker Adam Buksa on a permanent basis, but Lensois reports that the Turkish team is expressing interest in him.

With 14 goals in 30 league games while on loan from Lens, the striker has made an impression at Antalyaspor this season. Trabzonspor, who keep a close eye on his performances, has taken note of that.

Onuachu is now on loan from Southampton to fill the role, but it appears that he will eventually return to the south coast rather than moving there permanently.

This implies that Buksa might be the man to fill the void left by Trabzonspor’s attack. In addition, he would be less expensive because Southampton is expected to seek more for Onuachu in an effort to get as much money as they can for the player, despite his current valuation of €5 million.

According to this additional rumour, Trabzonspor plans to recall Onuachu this summer. We’re sure Southampton will welcome this development.
