Rooster Chicken Proudly Supports Fijian Warriors in Pacific Challenge

Suva, April 9, 2024 – With great pleasure, the Fiji Rugby Football Union Trust Board (FRFUTB) announces a major relationship with Rooster Chicken, who will be the team’s proud sponsors during this week’s World Rugby Pacific Challenge, which is being held in Samoa.

The World Rugby Pacific Challenge, which is contested by national “A” teams composed of players from the region, gives up-and-coming Pacific players the chance to show off their skills and possibly secure professional contracts through the Pacific Combine programme, a high-performance development scheme that develops players all the way to the test level.

Through this collaboration, Rooster Chicken and Fiji Rugby hope to help local talent reach the necessary levels for national team duty before the next Rugby World Cup.

Rugby House is excited to have Rooster Chicken join us in sponsoring the Fijian Warriors, the competition’s defending champions, according to Simione Valenitabua, Special Administrator for Fiji Rugby.

Mr. Valenitabua said, “Fiji Rugby is honoured to have Rooster Chicken as a sponsor of our national development programmes.”

“This collaboration represents the joining of two organisations that are steadfastly dedicated to developing talent, encouraging sportsmanship, and honouring our mutual love of rugby.”

Since the competition began in 2006, the Fijian Warriors have emerged victorious ten times, demonstrating their impressive history in the game. The Fijian Warriors, who are proud and determined to represent Fiji, are ready to have a big influence on the competition with the help of Rooster Chicken.
