Agbonlahor laughs at what he saw from Rangers v Celtic, destroys ‘Terrible’ player

Gabby Agbonlahor said the standard of play from Rangers against Celtic was “League One” level, while also taking a swipe at Fabio Silva.

The former Aston Villa striker, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, did not hold back in his assessment during Sunday’s (7 April) match.

Agbonlahor sent a number of messages on his personal X account [7 April] while the thrilling 3-3 draw was panning out at Ibrox.

“Rangers look terrible. The standard from rangers is league one,” he posted, along with three crying with laughter emojis.

Asked what he made of the performance of Wolves loanee Silva, Agbonlahor simply said: “Terrible”.

Rangers draw 3-3 v Celtic in Old Firm classic

Agbonlahor’s initial message was posted shortly after the Gers were two goals behind at Ibrox, so he was not far wrong in fairness.

However, the Gers squad shoved that message back down his throat with a much-improved performance in the second period.

While a point was not what supporters wanted prior to the game, it has to be considered a positive outcome in the grand scheme of things.

As for the assessment of “terrible” Silva, well the winger won the Gers a penalty that James Tavernier converted to make it 2-1.

That was a key moment in the match – albeit a match that had numerous key moments in a true classic.

The bottom line is that, even when completely off it for half of the match, this Rangers squad can still find a way to pick up a positive result.
