Long-Term Celtic Target Set For Summer Exit; Was This the Plan All Along

The Celtic connection involving Mathias Kvistgaarden of Brondby and his possible transfer to Glasgow may be about to take a significant turn this summer, as the director of football for the Danish team, Carsten Jensen, has publicly accepted the prospect of the striker leaving.

Celtic Kvistgaarden
Kvistgaarden has been on Celtic’s radar for the last two transfer windows and is a long-term target for the Hoops.

The 21-year-old has made it plain that he wants to play overseas, even though he is concentrating on winning the Danish championship this season and has not had any direct talks with Celtic.

According to Jensen’s recent remarks to the Danish media, Brondby may be getting ready for life without their standout striker. Jensen highlighted the timing of possible sales and the potential financial boost they could bring to the team.

As reported by the Record, he stated, “I acknowledge that there is a chance we will lose Kvistgaarden.”

Adam Idah Celtic
“We will have a substantial amount of money in the coffers if that occurs, giving us something to work with. We need a capable team. It all comes down to timing and landing the major deals at the ideal moments. We have to be true to our athletic goals. Our goal is to go to the group stage in Europe.

Adam Idah joined Celtic towards the end of the transfer window, giving them another striker for the winter. Interestingly, there was no way to purchase the player.

Many conjectured that Celtic might not have chosen the Irishman initially because, before to the loan acquisition, the team was linked to multiple strikers.

Could the club have been waiting to secure their target, knowing that Kvistgaarden would become available in the summer?
