“It’s nice when you focus on the negatives” – John Kennedy Brilliantly Shuts Down Reporter

The Celtics easily defeated Livingston 3-0 on Sunday, even though manager Brendan Rodgers served his one-match touchline penalty.

Impressive goals from Paulo Bernardo, Jamie Brandon’s own goal, and Matt O’Riley sealed the victory for the Hoops.

There were many good things that Celtic could take away from the game, and in his post-match interview with Sky Sports, John Kennedy skillfully silenced Sky Sports reporter Luke Shanley.

In the absence of Aaron Rodgers, Kennedy oversaw operations in the Bhoys dugout. He was questioned about his team’s defensive form and the fact that Sunday was the first clean sheet they had held in a few weeks.

But almost immediately, the assistant manager silenced him with a snide comment about Shanley and the mainstream media’s emphasis on Celtic’s shortcomings.

Kennedy made a smart move by shifting the conversation to the positive aspects, including the Celtics’ recent offensive success. “It’s always nice when you focus on the negatives,” he remarked, quoting Sky Sports.

Outside of the Hearts game, we have scored 17 goals, and we have scored three more today.

We are aware that playing strong defence always gives us the upper hand.

“We were quite powerful today, especially at the back; I doubt Livingston had a corner at all.

“It was very pleasing all around.”
