Celtic’s summer social media teaser

A strong indication has been given by Celtic that they would be travelling to Ireland and the US as part of their preseason training.

The hoops have travelled to Slovenia or Austria in recent years to continue their workout regimen and ease their way back into play with a few low-key matches against regional rivals.

A change in strategy occurred last summer, with two matches in Japan scheduled during Ange Postecoglou’s tenure, after a training camp in Portugal.

While none of previous excursions have proven very profitable, a journey to the United States that includes stops in New York or Boston ought to increase both visibility and revenue.

In terms of football, it appears that Celtic will have a busy summer as Joe Hart retires and Brendan Rodgers is likely still searching for the four elite players he saw when he rejoined the team.

Less than three weeks after the conclusion of the European Championships, on August 1, the 24/25 SPFL season gets underway.

If Celtic wins the SPFL, they will automatically advance to the Champions League group stage draw; if they place second, they will need to win four midweek qualifiers in August in order to advance.
