Celtic hero is Aston Villa transfer ‘target’ as epic Parkhead return chances rated

Celtic hero Kieran Tierney is rumored to have been targeted by Aston Villa, as a return to Parkhead is much anticipated.

The left-back, who left the Hoops in 2019 to join Arsenal, is presently on loan at Real Sociedad. Tierney made an impression when playing for the Gunners, but injuries have marred his last few seasons in red and blue, and he was sent on loan to Spain to play regularly.

Although injury has again played a role, he has made 20 appearances this season. There have been rumors that Real Sociedad won’t be looking to sign him to a long-term contract this summer, and there may not be room for him in North London.

According to speculations circulating in England and Spain, Unai Emery, the manager of Aston Villa, is eager to bring him in for the summer. Tierney was recruited to Arsenal by the Spanish boss, and the team is enjoying their run at Champions League play.

Rumors of an emotional Celtic comeback persisted in the summer, and the left-back’s continued uncertainty has stoked those rumors once more. Due to Alexandro Bernabei’s loan departure, Greg Taylor is the only senior left-back currently playing for the Hoops. However, former Parkhead defender Mark Wilson believes that finances may play a role.

He said to Clyde SSB, “Is Tierney back now? Naturally, of course! Who wouldn’t? If he can’t fit back in at Arsenal, there will be a long line of teams waiting for him.

“As a Celtics supporter, I’m sure he would want to return and play for the team once more, but at the height of his abilities, he makes a certain amount of money. It is unmatchable by Celtic, and I regret to say that I do not see it occurring this summer
