Rodgers wants ‘complete overhaul’ at Celtic this summer after ‘incredible’ £67m reveal

Football Insider has been informed by insiders that Brendan Rodgers is pressuring the Celtic board to implement significant changes at Parkhead this summer.

The head coach of the Hornets, according to sources, is to “completely overhaul” his team in the upcoming transfer window.
Despite dominating for most of the season, Celtic’s decline in form has left them behind archrivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.

Although Rodgers is under intense pressure to perform, Football Insider disclosed on Friday, March 8, that Celtics do not currently have plans to fire Rodgers in spite of their league collapse.

After the £67 million bombshell, Rodgers demands significant summer transfer activity.
Following the revelation of the club’s £40 million profit and staggering £67 million in bank accounts in their 2022–23 financial records, the Celtic board came under fire for their lack of investment during the January transfer window.

The only permanent addition made by the Glasgow giants during the January transfer window was winger Nicolas Kuhn, who brought in under £3 million.
During the club’s annual general meeting last month, club chairman Peter Lawwell addressed the lack of transfer activity and said he understood the “frustration” of the fans.
Lawwell mentioned the “unavailability of identified targets” despite stating that “resources were available.”
After falling behind Rangers in the league, finishing bottom in their Champions League group, and missing out on the Scottish League Cup, Celtic are now in danger of having no hardware at the end of the season.
