Philippe Clement pays tribute to Rangers fan who died in Lisbon

Philippe Clement has honored a Rangers supporter who passed away in Lisbon.

, 25, passed unexpectedly in the nation’s capital after the Glasgow club’s UEFA Europa League match against the Portuguese powerhouses, according to a previous story from The Glasgow Times.

The club released a statement today confirming the awful news and expressing their “deepest sympathies to Thomas’ family and friends.”

The Rangers boss has now shown his own gratitude.

“My thoughts and condolences go to Thomas’ family and friends,” he posted on X.
Throughout the day, tributes to the deceased former Drumchapel High School student were posted on Facebook and X.

One woman expressed her grief on Facebook, writing, “You’ve left us all heartbroken, still can’t come to terms with this news.”

“Watching you grow from that tiny beautiful blonde haired boy to such an amazing daddy to your beautiful kids, you made us all proud,” she said, revealing that Mr. McAllister was a father.

“Tommy Tuck, this one is challenging. We will need to help your mother, your lovely children, and the community as a whole. Too soon, another young life was lost.

“Sleep tight, going to miss that big smile and laugh of yours.”

His pal disclosed that he went by Tam among friends and expressed that he would be “sorely missed”.

“A cheeky, funny, amazing character,” she continued. Tam, what a boy. My dear, you will be greatly missed.”

Another tribute said, “I’m very sorry, I’m at a loss for words. I had no idea that I would need to write this. Thomas, RIP.”

A relative went on, saying, “It’s hard for me to understand. I will always love you, cousin; you were the best.”

Callum Beattie, a singer, led the celebrity tributes and expressed his sadness at hearing of the death.
