Chris Sutton shares Rangers admission as ‘Unthinkable’ Celtic player situation mooted at Ibrox

Chris Sutton thinks Celtic will need to perform at their highest level to defeat Rangers, who don’t seem to be slowing down, and win the Scottish Premiership.With his players reducing the distance on their Old Firm adversaries over the last few weeks and eventually gaining the lead, Philippe Clement has created an amazing atmosphere at Ibrox.

With no indications of slowing down, the Gers are presently leading Brendan Rodgers’ team by two points, and the league title may come down to the last second.

On Saturday, March 2, Sutton wrote for the Daily Record and stated: “One could argue that their outcome was even more remarkable than Celtic hitting Dundee for seven goals.” With Kilmarnock playing the way they are under Derek McInnes, many supporters would have considered Rugby Park to be a potential roadblock.

Rangers, who have won 10 straight games, will be motivated to keep up this momentum through the end of the season and win just their second Scottish Premiership trophy in the previous ten years.
