Adam Idah tipped for Serie A move

Although many weren’t thrilled with Adam Idah’s loan stint at Celtic, his five goals in five games since signing have made many of them regret their comments.Adam Idah CelticCeltic great Chris Sutton, who has a unique perspective from his time with both Norwich and Celtic, has noticed this comeback.

After analysing Idah’s achievements, Sutton believes that clubs outside of Britain may become interested in the striker due to his success in Scotland, especially in Italy where several young Irish players have lately established themselves.

“He has adapted to Celtic life like a duck to water, which can only be advantageous for Norwich City.”

He appears to be a slightly different player at Celtic, though it’s early. Although it wouldn’t be accurate to say he was merely going through the motions at Norwich, you could always tell there was more to be gained.

“I think he’ll want to stay if he does well at Celtic. However, the deal’s lack of options will keep prospective rival suitors intrigued. I wouldn’t be shocked if the Italian teams who showed interest in making a deal in January came back to the negotiation table.

His loan agreement has no buy-out provision, which means that other teams may show interest in him come summer and maybe start a bidding battle.

Serie A offers an interesting alternative for his professional path because teams like Genoa, Verona, and Sassuolo have already expressed interest in him.
