Rangers star’s social media post inadvertently provides update on player’s injury status

The Rangers defender Leon Balogun revealed on Instagram that he has resumed training following a facial injury in a humorous post featuring Mohamed Diomande.

The 35-year-old experienced centre back for the Gers posted a video of Mohamed Diomande in the changing rooms of the team’s training facility while donning an Ivory Coast shirt.

Leon Balogun, an Ivorian midfielder with 46 caps for his country, was celebrating his country’s AFCON triumph over Nigeria. Balogun is 23 years old.

With Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey, two former Rangers, playing in the decisive match that the Ivory Coast won 2-1, Diomande was undoubtedly trying the Ibrox allegiance with the jersey.

However, Rangers defender Leon Balogun unintentionally revealed that he had returned to the training field after suffering a serious facial injury just one week prior against Livingston.

Balogun said, “Check this one out.” He thinks he can make fun of me like that after just signing!

“Observe him. I’m not giving you a pass today, buddy. He took Twitter into the dressing room, oh my god.

“Mama mia, this guy, this man.” Yes, buddy, make the most of it while you still can. I’m back today and we’re training in a short while, so remember to bring your shinguards!

Rangers’ dedication is unwavering
Following Leon Balogun’s injury during the first half of Rangers’ match against Livingston, manager Philippe Clement of the team stated that the defender had sustained a facial fracture.

Leon Balogun is back in Ibrox training, despite claims that the center-back wouldn’t be away for too long and would probably need to wear a protective mask.

The Nigerian international who was born in Germany is a formidable opponent for Rangers, and he truly believes in the Ibrox cause.

While he enjoys Ivory Coast’s AFCON triumph, midfielder Mohamed Diomande has been promoting an Ibrox teammate.
