Club will ‘try to sign’ Celtic star in next 48 hours – Manager wants offer to be made, club thinking about €15m bid

Galatasaray “tries to sign.” The most recent sources state that Brendan Rodgers is irritated by Matt O’Riley of Celtic. According to today’s Haber Meydan, the Turkish side came up with this “surprise name” that would be revealed in the coming days.

The £12.5m needed from Norwich City or Bayer Leverkusen to get Celtic interested in selling Kris Ajer

According to reports, manager Okan Buruk and his scouting group “feel an offer should be made” and “want very much” to sign O’Riley, whether it’s now or at the end of the season.
Galatasaray and Celtic are currently discussing the terms of a potential trade, since the Turkish transfer window is likely to close in less than 48 hours.

According to the report, Istanbul is thinking of making an offer of about €15 million for the player, who is considered a “star” at Celtic Park, even if they are aware that they will have to pay a “high price” to acquire him.

With little time to work out the terms, it appears Celtic will have to decide whether to accept this offer now or wait until the conclusion of the season to hear from Galatasaray again.

With 10 goals and twelve assists in 32 games this season, O’Riley has been a vital member of the Hoops, so it would be understandable that they would be apprehensive during negotiations, particularly since they are now without a successor.
