One couldn’t get away from the chatter of Bojan Miovski and Lawrence Shankland, but a player who has been consistently linked with the Hoops since last summer is Mathias Kvistgaarden. Talk of a move for the Danish frontman cooled last month, but The Bhoys are said to have made a late approach for him.

Per Football Scotland, Celtic contacted Brondby at the end of January but was warned that the club were unwilling to do business in the winter market. From this, one can put two and two together and assume that the Hoops return for the 21-year-old in the summer when the Danish season comes to a close.

Given the fact Adam Idah is due to return to Carrow Road at this time, a permanent move for Kvistgaarden in a few months would make sense. That is if Idah has not excelled by then, though, and there are calls to sign him permanently, which is well within the realms of possibility.
