Maik Nawrocki sends defiant Celtic title message despite Hoops dropping points at Pittodrie

Celtic’s quest for a third consecutive Scottish Premiership title was halted yesterday at Pittodrie as they drew 1-1 with Aberdeen.

Though they extended their winning streak to seven games in all competitions, Brendan Rodgers’ team owed a great deal to Nicolas Kuhn for a tenacious equaliser that helped them pull something positive out of the ruins and negate Bojan Miovski’s elegant opening goal early in the second half.
In order to overcome the setback they suffered on Saturday, the Hoops will have to rely on their plenty of title-winning experience when they play Hibernian away at Easter Road on Wednesday.

Although Maik Nawrocki hasn’t won any trophies at Parkhead since moving to Glasgow for an alleged £4.3 million last summer [Transfermarkt], he has experience winning the Polish Cup and Super Cup at his previous club Legia Warsaw.

He is confident that he will be able to achieve success at the conclusion of his first campaign in green and white, though.

Poland The Under-21 international Nawrocki had a mixed experience after replacing the injured Cameron Carter-Vickers away to Aberdeen. Former Dons player Russell Anderson said he was fortunate not to get sent off at Pittodrie for a second bookable offence.

Looking ahead, the 22-year-old is unafraid that his team can accomplish the goals they set out to accomplish at the start of the season.
Rangers FC vs. Celtic FC: A decisive Scottish Premiership match
According to Nawrocki [Daily Record], Celtic are capable of winning trophies. I have a lot of hope for what we may accomplish in the upcoming months. To take home the trophy in my debut year would be quite meaningful. It would be especially meaningful as it would be my first professional title.

But for the time being, we simply need to focus on winning every game. That way, everything will work out in the end.

“Seeing how many seasoned players there are in the changing room is encouraging. Since the majority of them won the Treble the previous season, they are accustomed to it. Guys with so much experience like Callum McGregor and Joe Hart are people I look up to.

In other words, with just 14 games remaining in the Scottish Premiership, the Bhoys will be eager to accumulate as many points as they can to take the lead.
Although we will have to wait and see if Celtic can win on all fronts, the Scottish Cup will also provide a significant incentive for them to attempt and finish the season with a domestic double.
