Brendan Rodgers has say on Celtic fan protest and rejects notion Aberdeen draw was ‘good point

Following Celtic’s defeat to managerless Aberdeen, Brendan Rodgers has tasked his players to ignore the simmering conflict off the field.
After sixty-three minutes, Nicolas Kuhn, a transfer window acquisition, equalized for Celtic, forcing them to settle for a point. He had simply replaced Liel Abada a few minutes earlier on the park.Following the 1-1 draw at Pittodrie, the 17,002 away fans organized a protest against what they saw as a lack of ambition at the top of the club.
The visitors were behind following an excellent solo goal from Bojan Miovski, and although the Aberdeen captain should have done better, they could have lost if Joe Hart had not made a fantastic save from Graeme Shinnie.Brendan Rodgers has say on Celtic fan protest and rejects notion Aberdeen draw was 'good point'
It was also fortunate for Celtic that Maik Nawrocki, the defender, did not receive a second booking for his foul on Miovski, allowing them to close the game with eleven men.

Even yet, Rodgers dismissed the idea that Celtic was in a “good” position at a location where the manager had triumphed in all nine of his prior trips.

He remarked, “I’d never say a point here is a good result.” As I have done since taking over as Celtic manager, I always come here to win. I always anticipate doing that. I can never say, “I expect to win; I’ll take the point.”

The supporters held similar sentiments. The players and Rodgers took the heat, not the Celtic board. After the final whistle, a big banner that read “Celtic Board – On Your Head Be It” was quickly unfurled.

It was up to the athletes, Rodgers emphasized, to ignore such discontent.

He remarked, “I can only focus on the players and what we do on the field.” “You usually find that playing well and winning games can help to soothe those difficulties, and that is our goal.

“Supporters are entitled to speak whatever they want to say since they have paid for it. However, we are solely in charge of what we do on the field. We’ll be fine if we follow it. The important thing is to keep it from taking our attention away from it. That is very significant.

You have to be prepared to handle everything that occurs outside. Pressure will always be present at the top clubs, including Celtic.
