Two British clubs now want to sign Rangers defender, another Ibrox exit on the cards – report

According to the Glasgow Times, Kilmarnock and Motherwell are interested in loaning Rangers defender Adam Devine, and another Ibrox departure is likely.On February 1, the publication said on its website that, considering the battle for spots at Ibrox, Gers might let him go on deadline day.

Sam Lammers left the Gers on loan earlier this month, and Devine is probably heading out the door as well.

The 20-year-old right-back has played nine minutes in eight senior outings for the Ibrox team, one of which was against Morton this season.

Devine needs consistent playing time to advance in his career and earn important experience, but there aren’t many first-team opportunities at Ibrox because more experienced players are ranked higher than him.

Devine offers Kilmarnock and Motherwell, two teams in need of defensive reinforcements because of injuries and bans, the chance to add a young, gifted player to their rosters.

A loan move covers for Kilmarnock and Motherwell in places where they are currently short-staffed, while giving the full-back vital playing time in a competitive setting.
