Leo Fuhr Hjelde, a defender who can play both left and centre back, has joined the Black Cats from Leeds United. Jewison Bennette has gone on loan. Romaine Mundle has taken over for Alex Pritchard, who departed to join Birmingham City.

But, a number of deals, both ins and outs, are anticipated at the Academy of Light today. However, here’s a look at the key transfer stories from today that you might have missed:

Though the Black Cats have since moved on to other targets and a deal for Langstaff is not on the table, Sunderland did initially express interest in bringing the goalscorer to the Stadium of Light during the January transfer window.
