Celtic player reacts to transfer after becoming late departure in mid

The Irishman made early gains into the window and was able to release Adam Montgomery, Yosuke Ideguchi, and Hyeokkyu Kwon in different directions; the latter has been sent back for treatment following a major injury.  Still, it appears that Rodgers and his backroom crew saved most of the moving to the final day, as a number of people are now reportedly getting close to Parkhead exits.

Marco Tilio has now issued a plea amid Celtic loan exit speculation

Mikey Johnston, a winger for the Republic of Ireland, will be loaned to West Bromwich Albion after finding it difficult to establish himself as a regular starter in the first squad this season.

With his contract expiring in the summer, it makes more sense to acquire David Turnbull permanently for a figure estimated to be about £2 million rather than lose him for nothing [Transfermarkt].

Despite just joining the Hoops for £1.5 million last summer, Melbourne City revealed earlier in the day that Marco Tilio had returned to the A-League on loan for the remainder of the season.
Marco Tilio, a Celtic loanee, is “thrilled” to be back at Melbourne City.

Tilio is representing Australia in the AFC Asian Cup on an international level. But instead of reporting to Lennoxtown, he will now leave for his own country after the Socceroos’ participation in the championship is over.
He said, according to the Melbourne City FC official website, “I’m thrilled to be back at City,” after finalising his loan transfer. I will never forget the experiences and memories I had when I was here, and I am eager to help the team succeed once more.
With three years of experience, the 22-year-old has already won three A-League Premierships while playing at AAMI Park. The City Boys made history in 2020–21 when they defeated Sydney FC in the Grand Final to win the A-League Championship [Guardian].
The news that Tilio has now left Celtic to return to Melbourne on loan is difficult to interpret, even though it doesn’t seem promising for his future at Parkhead.

Rodgers acknowledged in November of last year that the winger had struggled adjusting to life in Scotland. This could mean that it is a good idea for both sides to let the Hurstville native go on loan.

Now that he’s back in a familiar setting, Tilio has a chance to demonstrate his abilities before the end of the current term, which could provide the Hoops some insight into where he fits into their long-term goals.
