‘Not many like that’… Manager is blown away with 20-year-old on-loan Celtic player

The 20-year-old is presently having a great time with Fleetwood Town, an English League One team, while on loan. Initially signed by Scott Brown, Lawal’s new manager Charlie Adam has disclosed his progress down south, and it’s safe to say the former Rangers player has been blown away by him.

Celtic midfielder could leave even after deadline day

“Unfortunately, Bosun is not our player, but he is our player while he is here, and what he has done since he has been here is give us a good base in terms of his size and physicality,” Adam stated to the Daily Record.

The way he dribbles, touches, and passes the ball. That kind of midfield player is hard to come by in the Championship, much less League One in England. He therefore has a promising future. He works for a major Celtic football team.

“We are fortunate to have him at Fleetwood, and we will send a better player back than when he arrived in the next few months to finish the season.”

Excellent work from Bosun Lawal for Fleetwood Town
This season, the youthful player has been a constant in the League One team’s starting lineup.

Out of Fleetwood’s 25 games this season, the 20-year-old has started 23 of them and scored one goal. Fotmob gives Lawal an average rating of 6.89 and a passing accuracy of more than 75% per 90 minutes.

With an average of over 65 touches per game and a dribble success percentage of over 60%, Lawal is a danger offensively.

Lawal has played sensationally defensively. The 20-year-old dominates over 65% of his ground duels and over 75% of his aerial clashes with his height and physicality. He also wins over 73% of his tackles and over 65% of his face-to-face encounters.

Without a doubt, Lawal was successful in his early Fleetwood years, and if he keeps up his current level of performance, Celtic will have a player who is prepared for playing in the first team again.
