Tom Lawrence given new role at Southend United

TOM Lawrence has been added to the consortium taking control of Southend United.

Lawrence has been working as Blues’ chief executive since August 2021 but will now work closely alongside Justin Rees.

The news was announced at the Meet the Consortium evening at the Cliffs Pavilion tonight.

Lawrence will also be on the board of directors.
