Tash Flint completes her return to Celtic

Celtic FC Women are delighted to announce the return of striker Tash Flint, who has rejoined until the end of the season.

The forward arrives from Women’s Super League side Liverpool, following a successful spell in Glasgow last campaign.

Flint’s first move to Celtic came on deadline day of 2023, joining the Ghirls from Leicester City after playing a key role in their promotion to the top flight.

During her first spell in Scotland, the 27-year-old was an impressive performer for the Hoops, scoring a total of 11 goals in the second half of the season for the club

The striker played her part in last campaign’s historic Scottish Cup triumph, scoring in back-to-back games at Hampden Park – the 1-0 semi-final victory over Glasgow City, as well as grabbing the opener during the 2-0 win over Rangers at the National Stadium.

Flint had a knack of scoring goals on the big occasion for the Hoops, going on to score in two outings at Celtic Park in front of record crowds, with strikes against Glasgow City and Hearts.

And she will be aiming to do so once more as she prepares to join up with Elena Sadiku’s squad for the reminder of the season.

Welcome back, Tash!
