Nicolas Kuhn’s brilliant and hilarious reaction to Celtic’s performance against Buckie Thistle

Nicolas Kuhn jokingly stated that he wanted to play the second half of Celtic’s comprehensive win over Buckie Thistle in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.

Celtic’s new January recruit wasn’t available to play, but he was at Parkhead for the match, as Brendan Rodgers’ side put five goals past the Highland League side

The 24-year-old added that he was hoping for more goals in the second half and he got just that with Luis Palma and Rocco Vata getting their names on the scoresheet.

Whilst the Bhoys were slow to start, the man in form Paulo Bernardo opened the scoring after a brilliant ball from Matt O’Riley, before Odin Thiago Holm and Kyogo Furuhashi added to the scoring.

Nicolas Kuhn added that he ‘can’t wait’ to play in front of the Celtic crowd after chatting with club legend Neil Lennon pitchside for Viaplay Sports.

He got a taste of it today and now he is clearly chomping at the bit to get to Lennoxtown to prove his worth.

Celtic beat Buckie Thistle

“Really, really nice (to be here),” said Kuhn at HT on the pitch. “I can’t wait to play. It’s amazing with the crowd and the fans. Unbelievable.

“I hope we are going to score some more goals in the second half, not so many offside decisions. But it’s good. We are doing good. Just some more goals.

“I really can’t wait (to play at Parkhead),” Kuhn added whilst in conversation with Neil Lennon. “I said it before, I actually want to play the second half already, but I have to wait a little.”

Celtic v Buckie Thistle- Scottish Cup

Luis Palma and Liel Abada

With Daizen Maeda away on national duty with Japan for the Asian Cup games, it was Abada and Palma starting today.

That was expected and you assume that will be the case for Celtic’s return to Premiership action against Ross County.

But you would assume that if Rodgers is to make a first change, then it will be Kuhn getting minutes ahead of Mikey Johnston, and even Rocco Vata, who scored against Buckie after a brilliant assist from the Irishman.
