Quest for silverware prompts Rangers to put star man out of reach from January suitors

The Rangers are eager to show their interest in Rabbi Matondo because they think their present team can support them in their pursuit of more hardware.Rangers’ stint under new manager Philippe Clement has started off well, but despite whispers of incomings and offers for some of their key players, their January window has been quiet thus far.

Winger Matondo, who has reportedly been targeted by several Turkish teams, is one player who has drawn attention.
