Brendan Rodgers sets timeline for Nicolas Kuhn Celtic debut

Nicolas Kuhn, the recent addition to Celtic, will not play in this weekend’s Scottish Cup encounter against Buckie Thistle at home.

Kuhn, who joined from Austrian team Rapid Vienna earlier this week, became Celtic’s first acquisition of the January transfer window.
Along with Liel Abada, Luis Palma, and Daizen Maeda, he will compete for spots in the Bhoys attack, but supporters will have to wait for his debut.

Although the athlete is participating in Lennoxtown training, Brendan Rodgers has disclosed that the player is recovering from a recent procedure and won’t be available until the next test against Ross County.
This weekend at Celtic, no Kuhn debut

The Celtic manager declared [Celtic YouTube] that Nicolas won’t play this weekend. He had a dental procedure, therefore he was out for a while. He has therefore somewhat lost strength.

“He is going to be fine for Ross County.”

It’s disappointing that Kuhn will have to miss the Buckie Thistle match, as it looked like the perfect opportunity to introduce him to the team’s playing style and the matchday atmosphere at Celtic.

It will have to do till next Saturday’s home game against County, and it will be intriguing to see if he starts or comes on as a substitute.
Unlike other of the summer additions, Rodgers has already touted his abilities, so fans won’t have to wait long to see him in competitive action.

Kuhn has been playing regularly; before to joining Celtic, he made 22 appearances for Rapid this season. He has provided an assist on seven occasions and scored twice throughout that time.

Everyone is eager to see what he can bring to the green and white uniforms of the Bhoys, as the team needs a fantastic January transfer window following a disappointing 2023 recruiting class.
