Rangers v Dumbarton injury news: Doctor issues Nicolas Raskin update

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rajpal Brar, an expert on injuries, as our exclusive columnist. He will share his opinions on the Rangers’ injury status every week.

Dr Rajpal Brar believes that Nicolas Raskin, a midfielder for the Rangers, has probably fully recovered from his knee injury.

The injury specialist evaluated his setback, which resulted in him missing a few games, but he recognized a benefit from his return before the Christmas break.

In addition, the Belgian started the 16 January warm-up match against Copenhagen in order to increase his match fitness before senior football resumes.RangersOn Saturday, January 20, Rangers Gers play Dumbarton in the league, and the 22-year-old ought to be eligible for that match.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said:

The fact that he came back indicates that he will probably keep taking part in team training throughout the winter break in order to maintain his level of fitness.

“During the intermission, I would still anticipate him accruing match minutes.

“He has been participating in the warm-up games as well, so there’s a strong likelihood that he will be fully recovered and available for the first-team matches.

“Although it was on the upper leg, the injury was not deemed severe.”

“At first, I thought it might have been a knee knock from the contact.”

The Rangers
The 22-year-old made his final senior appearance for the Rangers back in October before making a comeback at the beginning of the new year.RangersSince Philippe Clement took over, Raskin has shown promise, but he hasn’t been healthy enough to go on a run of games.

As the Gers boss looks to reduce the gap on league leaders Celtic, he will be praying that the defensive midfield player does not re-injure himself.

In other Rangers news, there has been an update on the £4.8 million bid as progress is made in the Gers’ attempt to add a January player.
