Celtic sent a transfer message about Kilmarnock star following Nicolas Kuhn's arrival

In response to a Celtics supporter who suggested that the team try to sign Danny Armstrong in the January transfer window, Kenny Miller said.

First of all, Brendan Rodgers has even more options when it comes to wide players at Celtic thanks to the addition of Nicolas Kuhn.

However, Danny Armstrong is adaptable and can play all over the field, including up front, in the middle of the park, and even at right defense.

Speaking to Clyde 1, Kenny Miller described the 26-year-old as someone who has been “performing so consistently” and as “very important” for Kilmarnock.

Interestingly, he also said that Rangers and Celtic might “overlook” the potential that is already there when it comes to bringing it in.

Because of this, a certain Lawrence Shankland, who has been scoring goals for the Hearts all season just for fun, is making headlines.

Danny Armstrong heading to Celtic?
Miller stated, “He certainly wouldn’t have been in my thinking about Celtic being interested in him.”

“He’s enjoying a fantastic season. For Kilmarnock, who are now playing in a pretty strong squad, he is a really vital player. For Celtic, it’s a significant leap.

Would players who are genuinely succeeding in the league, like Shankland or Armstrong, be less risky recruits? They are, in my opinion. However, it seems like teams like the Rangers and Celtics ignore those that are competing in our league.

However, you are correct. Armstrong’s season has been outstanding. He is without a doubt playing with such consistency right now—possibly even more consistently than the Celtic wingers.

The team does not now need or would pursue that kind of talent. As previously stated, if Celtic is looking to sign a player from this league, it’s most likely Shankland or Bojan Miovski of Aberdeen.

Even so, there is disagreement within the fan base over those two.

The team has been a dominant force in the domestic arena for many years, and it is now a matter of continuing that success.

Europe is where the club needs to and wants to go next. And that’s where the question should be posed: would the players mentioned above do that? The short answer is no.
