The £10 million transfer that will infuriate Rangers supporters.

Nine players were added to the team by former Rangers manager Michael Beale during his massive summer roster overhaul at Ibrox.

Attackers Danilo and Cyriel Dessers were two examples of these players, and Beale’s dismissal soon after was largely influenced by the forwards’ difficulties.

With the former having six goals from 21 games and the latter having nine from 30 outings, the duo has not impressed at Ibrox thus far.

Given the stakes, Beale and all Rangers supporters would have expected more from the summer acquisitions, since players were given very little time to adjust to life at Ibrox.

The club chose to purchase the two strikers when they had the funds to cover Luca Langoni’s £10 million release fee, according to a story on X (16 January) by Football Scotland editor Mark Hendry. Supporters of the team may be furious at this latest development.

If he had made the move in the summer, the Boca Juniors forward might have had a far better life in Scotland.

Furthermore, considering that Langoni is eight years younger than Dessers and three years younger than Danilo, the 21-year-old may have been recruited with an eye toward the future.

Beale may have benefited greatly from the Argentine’s versatility as an attacker, as he could have played anywhere in the front line.

If the Gers had chosen differently last summer, there’s no way to know how things would have turned out. However, if current manager Philippe Clement wants to carry on with his great tenure in the dugout at Ibrox, he needs to focus on the current transfer window.
