Celtic make transfer breakthrough; fee, contract details about Exciting talent revealed

The most recent Sunday reports state that Celtic will take Nicolas Kuhn through a physical in London on Monday before announcing his signing early in the week.

Although it has long been known that the Bhoys and Rapid Vienna have been in talks for his signing, today’s development has allowed the player to move forward with the last steps of his transfer.
After a formal deal was made between Celtic and the Austrian club, Kuhn has already arrived in London ahead of tomorrow’s tests, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany this afternoon.

He is rumored to agree to a four-year contract that will last until the summer of 2028 for an initial payment of €3.5 million (£3 million) with add-ons.

It’s already been claimed by other outlets that Brendan Rodgers took an active role in the deal and was a significant reason why Kuhn has decided to join for Celtic over clubs in Italy and Germany.
Nicolas Kuhn is prepared to fight for playing time at Celtic

Though commentators like Chris Sutton have questioned Kuhn’s background, I believe it is obvious that the winger comes prepared to fight for a spot on Rodgers’ squad.

He’s a left-footed winger who prefers cutting in from the right flank and is regarded as one of the most creative powers in Austria right now, based at comparative FotMob data.
He should undoubtedly be receiving more minutes than available players like Hyunjun Yang, Mikey Johnston, and James Forrest.

Rodgers now has Daizen Maeda, Luis Palma, and Liel Abada in his core group of wingers. If everyone stays healthy and fit, the quartet will provide the Bhoys with a lot of offensive punch in the second half of the season.

Kuhn has made 51 appearances overall for Rapid and, having played for RB Leipzig, Ajax, and Bayern Munich’s youth teams, has a solid football background.

He might now make his Scottish Cup debut as early as next weekend, at home against Buckie Thistle.
