Brendan’s bhoys lap up the sunshine in Dubai

Lockdown regulations in Scotland prompted Neil Lennon’s team to travel to the United Arab Emirates for a week of training in the sun. However, the trip ultimately served as a metaphor for a season marred by poor decision-making. Images of players drinking by the pool sparked outrage throughout Scotland and prompted a statement from the government.

Following their defeat at Ibrox and the SPFL title disappearing from view, Celtic supporters were not impressed by the training cam. Football players are drawn to Dubai, though, and Instagram users are likely to share their favorite watercraft photos there as well.
The current Celtic team is undoubtedly well-liked by the fans after closing off the first half of the season with four straight victories.

Getting some sunshine and relaxing eleven days after the victory over St. Mirren should be extremely beneficial for Tony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, Matt O’Riley, and Paulo Bernardo.

When Buckie Thistle visits Glasgow one week from now, the scene will be drastically different as they attempt to win two trophies before the season ends and perhaps enjoy more sunshine back in Dubai.
