Over the past ten or so years, Celtic has easily won the top division without facing much competition. As Rangers were the same in 2020–21, it is fair to say that some supporters are hoping for a traditional two-horse race to win the title this year. Right now, everything you need is there for one. Rangers has two games remaining after the winter break, but Celtic leads them by eight points at the top of the tree.

In terms of points, things might become close in May, but Brown believes that there is only one location the Premiership trophy will land up at the conclusion of the season, no matter what happens.
