Ryan Kent leaves Rangers return door open as winger ‘wants’ back to Scotland or English Premier League

After his time at Fenerbahce finishes, Ryan Kent allegedly wants to move back to Scotland or to the English Premier League.

The former Ibrox winger left Gers on a free transfer and joined the Istanbul giants in the summer. However, Kent’s struggles to break into the Fener team have made the move a bad one. Now that the legendary Italian Leonardo Bonucci has joined their team, a “foreign” player will need to create room to accommodate him in their Turkish Super
The shrewd money would be on Kent as that player. Hull City is reportedly interested in signing him, but according to Turkish media, the former Liverpool wide player is only interested in playing in the top division north or south of the border. Journalist Ahmet Selim Kul asserts that Kent has greater goals in mind and will defeat the Tigers. That just leaves a return to Rangers as a plausible destination in Scotland, since Celtic would be exceedingly unlikely. The most likely location would be down south, but it’s unclear if there would be interest above the second layer.
Kul stated to the Rangers Review: “If Fenerbahce have to register Bonucci to their squad then they have to let another foreign player go and Kent will be that player because he could not play a lot.”The squad mentality has shifted, and he finds it difficult to adjust to life in Istanbul.

Due to his quiet and introverted nature, Kent found it difficult to adjust to the metropolis and as a result, it appears that the club will be selling Kent during current transfer window.

“Kent’s camp has informed me that while he does not wish to leave Fenerbahce during this transfer window, I think he will. Turkey and the English Championship are showing a lot of interest in him, and Hull City wants to move him.

Their Turkish owner enjoys a cordial connection with Fenerbahce. I’ve heard that Kent wants to go back to the Premier League or Scottish Premiership, so it’s unclear what he will do. He has no interest in playing for another Turkish team or the Championship.”
