Latest Rangers transfer news as Tashreeq Matthews rumour quashed, Ryan Kent ‘wants’ return and Josh Doig slips away

Gers have been linked with a host of names in this window

Transfer rumors involving Rangers seem to be fading right now.

First, the buzz surrounding Michy Batshuayi was swiftly put out when the team seemed to indicate that there was no interest in the Belgian striker, who is paid nearly £60,000 per week at Fenerbahce. Then, the player himself put an end to it all today, declaring that he will remain at Fenerbahce for the duration of the season and help his team win the Turkish championship.
The most recent was playmaker Tashreeq Matthews, a South African, who has been playing well with IK Sirius in Sweden. It is thought that no attempt would be made in that regard. Indeed, other from the early acquisition of Wolves’ Fabio Silva, everything has appeared to be terrible news for supporters of the Gers.

Josh Doig
Josh Doig now appears destined for Marseille following rumors of Ibrox’s interest. Additionally, Emmanuel Dennis of Nottingham Forest and Scott McKenna were linked to the player. Additionally, we reported that no approach has been made to the EPL club, even for those that haven’t been downplayed by the team.
With the winger out of the picture at Fenerbahce, a return for Ryan Kent was previously suggested, and it’s now been reported he wants to return to either the top flight in Scotland or England. “I have heard from Kent’s side that he does not want to leave Fenerbahce in this transfer window, but I believe he will leave,” Turkish broadcaster Ahmet Selim Kul stated. Turkey and the English Championship are showing a lot of interest in him, and Hull City wants to move him.

“Their Turkish owner enjoys a cordial connection with Fenerbahce. I’ve heard that Kent wants to go back to the Premier League or Scottish Premiership, so it’s unclear what he will do. He has no interest in playing for another Turkish team or the Championship.”
Although it’s still unclear if Clement is interested in Hearts Lawrence Shankland, Jim Duffy has been outlining why the Belgian’s approach would work wonders for him.

Sam Lammers has led the charge to sign on loan with Utrecht until the end of the season, although there isn’t a buyout option in the agreement. There will also probably be exits from Ibrox.
Galatasaray and Hellas Verona may be interested in Ridvan Yilmaz next.
