Rangers not interested in Belgium international Michy Batshuayi

t is understood that the Belgium international will not be moving to Ibrox during the January transfer window.

After failing to reach a new contract, Batshuayi is expected to leave the Turkish team, but he will not be moving to Glasgow.

As to club president Ali Koc, Batshuayi has “a place at Fenerbahce” in addition to the several clubs who are apparently interested in signing the 30-year-old this month.

“I have told him if you want to stay, there is a place for you in Fenerbahce,” Koc said to En Son Haber.

“However, the team will suffer if you are fidgety when sitting on the bench.

“Let us know your final decision as soon as possible.”

Batshuayi’s place in the Belgium squad for Euro 2024 is allegedly in jeopardy should he stay at Fenerbahce, according to Belgian icon Franky Van der Elst, who has also backed a move for the player this month.

“I believe Michy Batshuayi doesn’t deserve to make the squad right now and he is currently behind other strikers,” he stated.

“However, he is in a difficult situation at Fenerbahce and fails to score. He needs to get moving right away.”
