Reports tying Rangers to a move for Michy Batshuayi have been. It was reported that the Belgian striker, who appears certain to leave Fenerbahce, was of interest to the Light Blues, either permanently or on loan. The Ibrox club was even mentioned as potential front-runners, as Philippe Clement reportedly sought to speak with his compatriot.

However, Rangers would never be able to complete a trade given that the frontman is paid around £60,000 per week in Turkey. The Heart & Hand podcast has since reported that club sources have briefed them, denying any truth to the rumors and indicating that the player is not of interest to them.
President of Fenerbahce, Ali Koc, stated: “I’ve informed him.” There is accommodation available in Fenerbahce if you would like to stay. However, the team will suffer if you are fidgety when sitting on the bench. Please let us know as soon as you have made up your mind.”

Everton was cited as another team expressing interest, and considering the financial stakes, that would be a more feasible destination.
