Rangers Willie Collum demands ‘wrong’ as Ibrox hero criticises club

After the derby, Gers asked Collum to stay out of their games going forward.
Kenny Miller is sure that the Rangers have no right to make demands regarding Willie Collum’s participation in upcoming games.

The Ibrox hero responded to his former team’s remarks in the wake of the controversy over the VAR usage during their 2-1 loss to Celtic the previous Saturday. Collum believed at the time that as Alistair Johnston had not intentionally handballed inside his own penalty area, there would be no award of a spot kick. For Miller, Collum had the right to make such a subjective choice.
But after the restart, when offside images became public, the former striker feels that there needs to be greater openness. But that doesn’t mean Collum’s honesty should be singled out.

“I object to referees being pressed for time. Are Rangers right to want an account of the true events that transpired? Indeed.
However, they cannot order the SFA to choose the referee for their matches,” he stated to the Daily Record. “Willie obviously thought that wasn’t a handball, and most people think that was the wrong call. That’s all it is, though. A big mistake. despite the fact that 99 percent of people believe it was handball. What transpired is visible to all. It was not a penalty, in Willie’s opinion, so there was no need to look for offside later. In an attempt to defuse the tension, the lines and images were posted. Offside, however, ought never to have entered the picture.
