‘He loves Celtic’ – ‘Huge’ update on Matt O’Riley’s Celtic future

It is believed that there will be major interest from England and across Europe in the Danish international this summer but his main focus is in Glasgow where he wants to help Celtic retain the league title. As revealed by Football Insider (26 December), Premier League side West Ham United are keeping close tabs on O’Riley and have sent scouts to regularly watch him in action this season. The central midfielder has been a mainstay for the Hoops this season and has notched nine goals and eight assists across 26 games in all competitions.

O’Riley moved to Celtic Park in January 2022 for a reported £1.5million from MK Dons and the Hoops will earn a significant profit on him with any sale. Across 98 appearances since his move, he has bagged 17 goals and 24 assists.
