Philippe Clement has yet to bring his own players to Ibrox, having replaced Michael Beale after the summer transfer window, and could use the next month to bolster his squad.

Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-forward Fabio Silva has been linked with a move to Glasgow ahead of the second half of the season.

According to the Portuguese publication O’Jogo, Rangers and Celtic are both vying for his signature in January. There was no word on whether the teenage marksman would be on a loan or a permanent deal.
Clement might pull off a replay of the club’s Todd Cantwell move for Silva, since the English attacking midfielder was also struggling down south and has been a revelation for the Gers.
Cantwell’s Rangers form this season

Prior to joining Ibrox in January of this year, the former England U21 international had spent 18 months with the Canaries.

Cantwell did not score or assist in eight Premier League games during the 2021/22 season before returning to the Yellows the following season with zero goals and zero assists in 18 Championship games.
