Aberdeen Legend Makes Not Surprised Admission On Celtic Target

Former Aberdeen player Joe Harper has stated that serious interest in striker Bojan Miovski, who has been linked with Celtic, would not surprise him in January.
The 24-year-old has been at Pittodrie for 18 months and has given the club hope in what has been an otherwise poor season.
He has already contributed 17 goals in 27 games for the Dons, and his menacing presence in front of goal has aided Barry Robson’s team in Europe.
Celtic have reportedly been watching the hitman’s performances, and the Scottish champions are eager to see him at Parkhead.

And Harper has been thrilled with what he has seen from the 24-year-old and believes that clubs will be clamoring for Miovski in the January transfer window.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if clubs try to sign Miovski during the January transfer window,” Harper said in his Press & Journal column.
“Because he is such a valuable player, Aberdeen will have to set a very high price for any club interested in signing him.”

“Miovski has been a prolific scorer for Aberdeen for the second season in a row since signing in the summer of 2022.”

“The North Macedonian international also demonstrated this season that his scoring prowess is not limited to Scotland.”

“In Europe, he also scored four goals.”

“If Aberdeen allow Miovski to leave on the cheap, the club’s fans will be upset.”

“Hopefully Miovski is still at Pittodrie after the winter window because his goals will be key to the Scottish Cup campaign and the bid to finish third.”

It remains to be seen whether Celtic will make a move for Miovski in the coming days.

Following back-to-back victories against Hearts and Livingston, Aberdeen have managed to halt their slide and are now seventh, eight points off a European position.
