“We will discuss (any striker plans) within the club,” Clement stated. “First, we’ll see how Kemar (Roofe) is doing and how long he’ll be out.” Making smart decisions is also crucial.

Philippe Clement wasn’t just talking about Kemar Roofe when it came to Rangers’ January transfer plans.

“It’s simple in that way,” Clement added. “As long as there are no signs, you can go as far as you want on the road; you don’t know how long the road is.”

“So, as long as no one is in the building, no medical exams are performed, and no paperwork is signed, you’re nowhere.” So it’s always been that way.

“I’ve seen things go really fast in the past, where you think everything is fine and then another team gets the player in the last second or something, or his heart gets kicked out, so those things happen, so we’ll see.”

“The moment that something is signed, I can promise you guys, one second later you will know.”
