Rangers starlet Cole McKinnon seals loan exit to Championship
Rangers starlet Cole McKinnon has joined Ayr United on loan.
The 21-year-old midfielder has joined the Scottish Championship side for the remainder of the season.
McKinnon has been on the bench for the Rangers first-team this season including in the Europa League but he has not made a single appearance.
The academy graduate spent time on loan at East Fife in 2021 before a spell with Partick Thistle in the 2023/23 season.
Now, he will link up with Ayr United as he seeks regular game time.
McKinnon – who has played four times for the Ibrox first-team in total – has six months left on his current Ibrox deal.

An Ayr United post added:” The Club are delighted to announce the signing of 21-year-old midfielder, Cole McKinnon on loan from@RangersFC, subject to SFA approval.
“He joins the Honest Men until the end of the season. Welcome to Somerset Park, Cole!”
