WORST NIGHTMARE EVER;Leeds United star has been linked with a shock move to Tottenham

Leeds United signed 10 new players during the summer transfer window, spending close to £100million. But fans were not pleased with the business done on deadline day as they felt a key addition was lacking.

The Whites had struggled to score goals in the early parts of the season, with many pointing to the failure to sign a big name attacker. In this weekend’s win over Wolves, two new signings found the back of the net as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor scored.

When it comes to sales during the summer, the Whites did a pretty terrible job. They only sold two first team players; Diogo Monteiro and Sam Greenwood. All the other players left on temporary deals.

One player that has deserved a lot of plaudits at Leeds United is Pascal Struijk. He was signed as a youngster, progressed his way through the ranks and is now a first team regular. And in that time his stock has risen, with many clubs eyeing him. Graeme Bailey has said that with two years left on Struijk’s deal, Leeds need to decide what to do with him:

“I never got a feeling he was going to leave. Farke made him feel wanted. I don’t think that’ll [new contract] be far off.

“He’s a fabulous player. He does attract interest. You know, Leeds have to be careful.

“We know the likes of Brighton have looked at him in the past and you know, if they lose a Jan Paul van Hecke, would they look at Struijk?

“We know that Tottenham looked at him as well,” Bailey continued.

“Left-sided centre-backs are worth their weight in gold. If Brentford lose Nathan Collins they could come.

“Leeds will be looking to extend him because there’s an awful lot of clubs who would take
