Celtic have received a significant boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Atalanta, with key players returning from injury. Daizen Maeda and Cameron Carter-Vickers were both spotted back in training, raising hopes that they could feature in the upcoming European fixture.
Maeda has been sidelined since early November, and his return will provide a much-needed attacking option for Brendan Rodgers’ side. Meanwhile, Carter-Vickers, a crucial figure in Celtic’s defense, is also likely to be fit, bolstering the backline for the crucial match.
However, Celtic will still miss left-back Greg Taylor, who has been ruled out due to injury. Barcelona loanee Alex Valle is expected to continue filling in during Taylor’s absence. Despite this setback, the return of Maeda and Carter-Vickers is seen as a timely morale boost for the Scottish champions as they prepare for one of their most challenging games this season.
