As I’ve said before on here, Rangers have delivered endless amounts of hilarious content for the Celtic fans due to their shambolic upgrade of Ibrox.
The Copland Stand appears to be in some state still considering the club apparently getting their long awaited shipment of steel.
And whilst the Scottish media apply an obedient silence over the whole issue, Marvin Bartley tells it how it is.
Rangers have embarrassed Scottish football
When asked his opinion on the whole Ibrox shambles, Bartley was crystal clear on how he felt about it and shamed the media silence on the matter.
Bartley said (Clyde SSB) “Yeah, listen, I hope somebody behind the scenes is sorting these things out, because there’s one thing that we always speak about, our game, and I’m a massive advocate of Scottish football, and it’s always spoken about, and I try and speak about it as hard as I possibly can.
“There’s a lot of things that have gone on about the money that’s generated from the game and TV, and it should be worth a lot more. To see one of our top clubs be in this situation doesn’t look good for other people looking in on us.
”I think it’s kind of embarrassing for Scottish football. I’m not just talking about one football club, regardless of who it is. I think if they knew that there was gonna be a delay in potentially being at Ibrox, I think if you come out and you’re transparent at the back end of last season, you explain to people, listen, this is what we needed to do.”
It’s good to hear someone say out loud what everyone and sites like this have been saying for ages.
Rangers are an embarrassment and it’s no wonder Dundee were raging with them.
With no date or any clue as to when am Ibrox return is due, I am positive that this shambles is going to continue for months on end.
