BIRMINGHAM CITY STAR, WITHDRAWS FROM INTERNATIONAL DUTY

 

Birmingham, England – October 8, 2024

Birmingham City forward, Scott Hogan, has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland national team’s upcoming UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against Greece and the Netherlands.

 

Hogan cited a recurring hamstring injury as the reason for his withdrawal.

INJURY CONCERNS

– Hogan has struggled with hamstring issues throughout the season.

– He missed three Birmingham City matches in September.

– Birmingham City’s medical staff will work on Hogan’s rehabilitation.

– The Republic of Ireland team will announce a replacement.
