BREAKING: Leicester City FC Set to Sack Steve Cooper, formal Chelsea manager Lined Up as Replacement

Leicester, England – Leicester City FC is poised to make a significant managerial change, with current head coach Steve Cooper facing the axe.

Sources close to the club confirm that Cooper’s tenure is likely to end imminently, with former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino earmarked as his successor.

Pochettino’s impressive track record in the Premier League, coupled with his ability to develop young talent, has made him the top choice for the Leicester City hierarchy.

“The club feels that a change is necessary to revitalise the team’s performance and achieve European qualification,” a source revealed. “Pochettino’s experience, tactical acumen, and passion for developing players align perfectly with the club’s vision.”

Cooper took over at Leicester City in September 2023 but has struggled to replicate the success he achieved at Nottingham Forest.

Pochettino’s appointment is expected to be confirmed within the next 48 hours, pending negotiations and contractual agreements.
