London, England – Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is poised to axe manager Ange Postecoglou after a dismal run of results, with Mauricio Pochettino emerging as the top candidate to replace him.

 

Postecoglou, who took charge in June 2023, has struggled to replicate his success with Celtic, leaving Tottenham languishing in 12th place in the Premier League.

Pochettino, who managed Tottenham from 2014 to 2019, is reportedly in advanced talks to return to the club. The Argentine coach led Spurs to the Champions League final in 2019 and established the team as a consistent top-four finisher.

Pochettino’s Return:

Sources close to the negotiations indicate that Pochettino has agreed to a 3-year deal, worth £10 million per annum, with a £5 million bonus for securing Champions League qualification.
